EC Suspends Limited Registration Scheduled to Begin Today The Electoral Commission has suspended indefinitely its nationwide limited registration exercise scheduled to begin today. This follows an order from the Supreme Court which is hearing a suit brought against the EC by PNC Youth Organiser Abu Ramadan and one other, challenging the use of National Health Insurance Cards as a means of identification. The Court has fixed next Wednesday to give its ruling on the substantive case. Director of Public Affairs at the EC, Christian Owusu-Parry says a new date will be announced after the ruling. He however expressed disappointment at the injunction, saying it will affect the EC's calendar. GBC
