UN Security Council pushes for Israel-Gaza truce

An emergency UN Security Council meeting has been held in New York after the deadliest day of the Israel-Gaza crisis with 13 Israeli soldiers dead and more than 84 people in Gaza also killed. 

Reports from the meeting say the Council has called for an immediate cease fire. 

However, many believe that no concrete action will be taken at the end of this meeting.
