Organised Labour to boycott work Thursday Organised Labour has declared Thursday, July 24 as a national day of protest calling on workers to boycott work on that day. This is in protest against the economic hardship facing Ghanaians. The General Secretary of TUC, Kofi Asamoah who spoke on behalf of organised labour called on all to take part in the protest. Mr. Asamoah tasked government to take immediate action to halt the depreciation of the cedi. He made further demands saying the economic situation has moved from bad to worse and there seems to be no end in sight. He stated eight-point demands by organised labour. GBC
