Boko Haram Abducts Businessmen in Borno State

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have kidnapped two local businessmen in Gamboru, Borno state in Nigeria.

The businessmen were said to have been taken away in two vehicles to an unknown destination along the Nigeria-Cameroon border.

According to an eyewitness, some hoodlums burst into the market square, bundled the men into their vehicles and sped off without killing anyone.

The eye witness lamented that the Police and the military in the border areas of Cameroon and Dikwa-Maiduguri were not assisted, and had to rely on vigilante youth groups in the area for assistance.
