Government should rather focus on encouraging income earners to pay tax.

A tax expert and managing consultant of World Tax Service Abdullah Ali Nakyea, says government is not doing enough to get more people into the tax bracket. 

He said instead of increasing the tax rate, government should rather focus on encouraging all income earners to pay tax to avoid burdening the few who are currently paying their tax. 

Speaking on Behind the News, Mr. Nakyea also urged government to review tax laws, to make them attractive to tax payers.
