THE DAILY GRAPHIC: is worried  that government has  not  been able to pay captiation  grant  to  basic  schools since  the  beginning of  the  2013/12014  academic year compelling  the  President of the Conference of  Heads of  Basic  Schools to  call on head teachers to find ways  of  generating  funds internally  to  run  their schools. Whiles acknowledging the economic challenges facing the  country,  the  paper thinks there should  be no excuse to prevent  innocent  children  from receiving what is due  them.

THE GHANAIAN TIMES:  says the failure of the Attorney General's
Department to respond to invitations by the Judgement Debt Commission to appear before it to provide information on some judgement debts, is an affront to the commission's work, and must not be entertained.  It believes what has made matters worse is the failure of the sector minister to compel her charges to appear before the commissioner
knowing very well that the commission was established by the President under CI79, and is therefore, a legal entity.  The Times feels it is high time the commission began exercising its power and those who think they can disregard its orders brought to book.
 
DAILY HERITAGE:  touches on the winner-takes all nature of Ghana
politics.  Describing it as politics of exclusion. The paper explains how the winning party becomes the ultimate custodian of all that the nation owns, which is injurious to development.  Heritage agrees with the position of the Institute of Economic Affairs that the system creates unnecessary tension during elections and threatens national
security.
 
THE TODAY NEWSPAPER : says   it  is  because  of  the  lazy
attitude  and  easy  way  of  gaining  success of  some  church
members, that make  some  Pastors take advantage of  them. The paper
says  it  is  imprudent  to over  rely on some  men of God  and their prophetic directions which sometimes ruin marriages.  It  says though  it  recognises  the  genuine direction given  by some of these pastors  it is  important that people are  wise when dealing with  these Pastors to avoid being led astray.
