Nuclear Power as an Alternative Source of Energy 

45 countries including Ghana are seriously considering nuclear power as an alternative source of energy.

The United Arab Emirates is building four reactors while Saudi Arabia is contemplating 10.

The Deputy Director General of the Atomic Energy Commission, Professor Kwame Aboh, in a presentation on the importance of nuclear energy for development said, even oil rich countries have come to realize that nuclear is a better and more sustainable energy source.
