Caterers under School Feeding Programme to be paid Caterers under the Ghana School Feeding Programme are expected to be paid part of their allowances in arrears for over seven months, following the release of the District Assembly Common Fund. The National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, S.K Adamu made this known in an interview with Radio Ghana in Kumasi. The Secretariat owes caterers about GH¢ 140 million. Mr Adamu said the caterers were last paid in March this year and blamed the current challenges undermining the programme on the original implementation plan in 2005 and also the present economic problems of the nations. The Coordinator mentioned the setting up of structures from the school level to the regional and national levels as part of temporary measures to ensure the continuity of the programme. GBC
