Kumasi BOST To Resume Full of Operation The Kumasi Depot of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company, BOST, will resume full operations after completion of ongoing works to upgrade the strategic national energy facility. Officials say the works are expected to be completed by the end of this month. The Kumasi Depot Manager of BOST, Nicholas Samari, gave the assurance during a media tour of the facility in Kumasi. The work involves the installation of three low position tankers with a total capacity of 30 thousand litres of fuel, modification of pipelines, an automation of the entire system, installation of discharging metres as well as some civil works. Mr. Samari said the Kumasi Area Depot, which has a maximum fuel storage capacity of 43 million litres of diesel, 34 million litres of petrol and 10 million litres of kerosene, has since the beginning of the upgrading works reduced its storage capacity to about nine million litres of all the fuel it stores.
