Minister of Trade tasks GSA to Address Congestion @ the Ports to Help Promote Economic Growth

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Haruna Iddrisu has tasked the Ghana Standard Authority to take immediate steps to improve its testing and certification to help address the problems of port congestion 

This he said will speed up clearance of goods at the ports.

According to him if the authority resolves these problems, it will help improve business transactions and promote economic growth.

Mr. Iddrisu said this when he inaugurated a board for the Authority.
