The second semi-final match at the World Cup tonight features another tussle for supremacy between Europe and South America, with the Netherlands and Argentina renewing acquaintances in Sao Paulo. 


Argentina's hopes of winning will depend on Lionel Messi, who has driven the team forward in Brazil and regularly made the difference, with a haul of four goals.


He will have to do without injured Angel Di Maria. Meanwhile, Nigel de Jong will be missing in action for the Dutch side and this might force Coach Louis van Gaal to change his formation. 


Both countries have met eight times in various competitions with the Netherlands having won four times, drew three times and lost once to the Argentines.
 

However, this crucial encounter promises to be a tough tussle as the Argentines look confident to break the winning dominance of the Netherlands over them.
