Patriotism lecture to rejuvenate waning spirit of patriotism. 



The National Coordinator of the National Youth Authority, Ras Mubarak, says the Authority has instituted the Annual Youth Patriotism Lecture series to rejuvenate the waning spirit of patriotism, -sacrifice and nationalism exhibited by the forebears to bring Ghana this far. 


Speaking to Radio Ghana on the state of unpatriotic attitudes in the country, Mr. Mubarak said the Authority is sad that positive values are waning among the youth. 

He said every nation has the obligation to deepen the culture of nationalism in order to build a strong nation. 

Mr. Mubarak called on Ghanaians to reflect on th cost of the waning national and spiritual virtues which are needed more today to rebuild Ghana. 

On the influences and effect of social media on the lifestyles of the youth, Mr. Mubarak asked parents and teachers to play their roles well to condition the minds of their children to take up the responsibility of leadership.
