The search for Castro and Jane proves futile.


Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan says he is hopeful that missing Hip life Artiste, Castro and his female friend, Jane will be found to put their families at ease. 


A statement signed by his Spokesman and Business Development Manager, Sammy Anim Addo says they have made and continue to make every effort to find them.


It says their prayers and support lie firmly with Castro and Jane and their families and prays for strength and fortitude for all engaged in the search. He appealed to anyone who has useful information to assist. 


Asamoah was on a holiday in the company of friends and a few acquaintances on the banks of the Volta River, shuttling between Peace Holiday Resort and Aqua Safari Resort at Ada when they noticed that their close friend and popular musician, Castro known in private life as Theophilus Tagoe, had gone missing on the Volta River together with an acquaintance, Jane Bandu, who had apparently gone cruising with Castro on a jet ski.  


A number of state institutions and officials including the Marine Police, Navy, Tema Police Command, Ada Police Command, Ada East District Assembly, local fishermen at Ada and some traditionalists are still searching for the two but attempts have proved futile.
