Ghanaians Urged to Be Interested In Ghana's Constitution

A Member of the Constitution Review Implementation Committee and a legislative drafting consultant, Mrs Estella Appiah has urged Ghanaians to be interested in what is in the constitution as it helps in the development of the country. 

According to her, engaging oneself in what is in the constitution would assist in knowing how the country is being administered. 

She announced this in a presentation at the Brong-Ahafo edition of the Regional Stakeholders briefing on the review of the 1992 constitution of Ghana in Sunyani. 

Mrs Appiah said very soon Ghanaians would be called upon to vote in a referendum to decide on some critical reviews of portions of the 1992 constitution of which the abolition of the death penalty, declaration of war by the President, and a President being sworn into office before parliament by the Chief Justice are part.
