Government To Set Up Committee To Flush Out Foreigners Engaged In Petty Trading Government will soon set up a 13 member taskforce to flush out foreigners engaged in petty trading. Government has also amended the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Act to make it illegal for any Ghanaian to rent or lease out a store for any foreigner to engage in petty trading. The Minister of Trade and Industry, Haruna Iddrisu announced this when he met the national executives and some members of GUTA in Accra. He said government is determined to enforce the law to weed out the foreigners in the retail sector. Source : GBC
