Thermal Plant Commissioned For Zoil Service Limited

Steps towards having a more positive environmental impact on Ghana's oil and gas have been given a further boost with the inauguration  of a multi- dollar Anerobic Thermal Desorption Plant for Zoil Services Limited, an oil and gas management and spill response company at Nyankrom in the Shama District of the Western Region.

 Correspondent George Grant Yankson reports that the state of the art plant, the largest in Ghana and the West African sub-region apart from Nigeria is capable of treating   eight tonnes of drilling waste per hour  as well as processing waste plastics into valuable fuel products  to help  reduce the amount of plastic contamination .
