Woyome Reiterates Claim Of Wrongful Termination Of Contract 

Business man Alfred Agbesi Woyome has reiterated his claim of wrongful termination of contract by the Government of Ghana, regarding the financial arrangements for projects for the 2008 African Cup of Nations.

He told the Accra Fast Track High Court, on Wednesday, that after the concurrent approval from the Central Tender Review Board, he and his consortium made arrangements for funding of the projects for the tournament.

Ghana was to access more than 1.1 billion euros from the Bank of Austria through Mr. Woyome`s instrumentality, to finance the projects, with support from the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agencies MIGA.

He was commenting on letters in evidence emanating from the offices of the Attorney - General and Ministry of Finance, backing his two percent claim, when he continued with his evidence-in-chief.
