Benefits from LEAP Programme

Seventy three thousand one hundred and thirty four, households in 100 districts across the country have received money under the LEAP Programme to improve their socio economic status.  

Another four thousand, 676 have been identified to be on LEAP this year.  

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur said this when she took her turn at the Meet-The Press Series in Accra today/yesterday. 

 She announced that 288 people with disabilities have been targeted for better service delivery.
