State funeral for Late Ahmadi Leader, Maulvi Wahab-Adam Today The late Ameer and missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Maulvi Wahab Adam will be buried today at the missionary cemetery in Kasoa. The funeral ceremony will take place at the State House in Accra. In another development, the Annual National Ramadan Conference organised by the Muslim Community has been held at Sekondi Takoradi in the Western Region. At the end of the three day conference, a communique was adopted with the main focus on the upcoming Ramadan. The communique said the first day of the sighting of the moon for this year's fasting shall be on Friday the 27th of June 2014. If sighted on saturday the 28th of June 2014, the Ramadan period shall be thirty days. In a statement, the National Chief Imam Dr. Sheikh Nuhu Sharabutu encouraged the muslim community to use the Ramadan period to unite in the interest of the nation. The National Chief Iman is expected to officially announce the commencement of the Ramadan on National Television. GBC
