Out-Going Roads Minister Speaks
The out-going Minister for Roads and Highways, Alhaji Sulemani says government is giving priority to on-going works on the alternative routes to the Volta Region, following closure
of the Adomi Bridge. 

He said the traffic challenges due to the closure of the Adomi Bridge has been of much concern to the President , who has visited the project site to see the extent of work on the alternative routes. 

Alhaji Sulemani has been telling Radio Ghana the progress of work, and was hopeful the contractors will work on schedule to ease the traffic challenges.

The out-going Roads and Highways Minister, also expressed concern about reports in the media suggesting that he has abandoned his post since the President re-assigned him to the Upper West Region, Alhaji Sulemani says he is still working on his schedule as Roads Minister as he prepares his handing over notes to his successor.
