Parliamentary Select Committee Satisfied With Accommodation Arrangements For Soccer Fans In Brazil Boniface Gambila a former Upper East Regional Minister under the New Patroitic Party (NPP) administration, says he is satisfied with the accommodation arrangements for soccer fans in Brazil. According to Boniface Gambila who is also the Member of Parliament for Nabdam, the hotel facility provided by the government for soccer fans in Brazil is second to none. A parliamentary select committee on Friday visited the facility after reports in Ghana by some media houses claimed fans were not happy of their residents. There have been reports that fans are agitated about the place given to them by the government and this has raised concerns. In order to clarify issues, the parliamentary select committee for youth and sports decided to visit the facility at Natal where over 600 Ghanaian fans are based. The committee inspected the facility at the Madunas hotel and events and resort center to check on the development and also speak to the fans on their concerns. The facility have air condition per each room and beds to relax plus private bathrooms with showers and toilets. There are auditoriums for events and television show rooms, especially for the matches. a big dining hall and mini mart to boast with a big swimming pool close to a natural lake for viewing. All rooms are equiped with cable television sets. Also, the head of the parliamentary select committee for Youth and Sports and also the MP for South Tongu constituency Kobena Mensah Wayome was extremely satisfied about the facility. GBC
