The Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers opens

The 72nd Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers has opened in Accra to consider and endorse various reports on the Security and integration process of the sub-region.

The two day meeting was addressed by the President of the ECOWAS Commission Kadre Dessire` Quedraogo and Chairman of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers, Madam Hannah Tetteh. 

Madam Tetteh said sources of funding for terrorists must be tracked and stopped because terrorism is a threat to peace in the sub- region and the whole continent.
