Belgium Defeat Algeria 2 - 1 in World Cup First Group-H Encounter in Belo Horizonte One of Africa`s representatives at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Algeria lost 2-1 to Belgium this evening in the first fixtures of the Group-H World Cup match in Bello Horizonte. Substitute Maroim Fellani however out jumped his marker in the 18 yard box to nod home the equaliser for Belgium in the 70th minute. Ten minutes later Striker Wetens scored Belgium`s second goal when he blasted home a pass from Eden Hazard. Later this evening, Russia will take on Korea Republic in the other Group H match at 10.00pm. Meanwhile, Host nation Brazil will play Mexico in the second phase of the Group stage matches at 7.00 pm.
