UCF Celebrates 34th Anniversary in Memory of Fallen Heroes
 
The United Cadre Front (UCF)is celebrating its 34th Anniversary at Bongo in the Upper East Region.

The aim is to honor the fallen cadres who sacrificed their lives for mother Ghana in their line of duty.

It is also to rejuvenate the spirit of patriotism in the youth as exhibited by the founding fathers of the cadres.

Speaking to Radio Ghana ahead of the celebration, the General Secretary of the United Cadres Front, Efanam Nyarko, said the 19th of June has been chosen for the anniversary to remind the youth about the virtues that can propel the nation to the next stage of development.

Mr Nyarko also used the occasion to remind regional branches of the cadre’s corps of the planned agriculture development in the regions to boost food production and security.
