Disabled Children must also have access to quality and friendly education.

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur, says children with disabilities must not be denied access to quality education

 She said the neglect of these children or isolating them, prevents majority of them from fully integrating into society and thus lack the skills required to be independent in future.

In view of this, her ministry in collaboration with other stakeholders is working to fully eliminate all forms of discrimination that prevent any group of people from accessing quality and friendly education.

 Mrs. Lithur made the comment in Accra at the celebration of this year's Day of the African Child.
