NPP Regional Chairmen suggest September for Presidential flagbearership election The Regional Chairmen of the NPP, have suggested September, for the election of the party's Presidential Candidate. According to them, if the party maintains the December 6 date, every effort made to address the current issues confronting it would yield no positive result. This was announced at a news conference in Accra on Monday. The Brong-Ahafo Regional Chairman of the Party, Kwaku Asamoah-Cheremeh asked the National Council of the Party to consider September, for the flagbearer contest having in mind the possibility of a run-off. He said the long process leading to the election in December, will cost the party a great deal to unseat the NDC in 2016. Mr Asamoah-Cheremeh explained that the proposed month of September will address the trading of insults and vilifications among aspirants. He also drew attention to the District Assembly Elections which will be in December and election of Presidential Candidate around the same time will play down the district Assembly Election. GBC
