Black Stars XI Against USA In World Cup Opener


Kwesi Appiah, the Ghanaian coach is going to bench the AC star midfielder Michael Essien and will give a chance to Christian Atsu and Jordan Ayew in their World Cup opener against the USA tonight.

Adam Kwarasey will be in the post and Black Stars defense will be shielded by Kwadwo Asamoah, Daniel Opare, Jonathan Mensah and John Boye.

The following players will be making their debut for the national side Sulley Muntari, Atsu and Andre Ayew.
Asamoah Gyan, the Black Stars captain is set to face the Americans for the third time in the World Cup with a hope to continue their success.
