Football Fans Expect Ghana To Win In Tonight's Group-G Encounter

Football fans are expecting a win from the Black Stars to enhance their progress to the next stage in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Juventus and Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed excitement about the team spirit in the Black Stars camp as they build up to their opening Group G match against the USA this evening at the Estadio das Dunas in Natal.

The 25-year-old is expected to play a key role during Ghana’s matches. 

It will be their third clash at the tournament after the Black Stars beat the US in 2006 and 2010.

Radio Ghana’s correspondent in the city of Natal Brazil Benjamin Willie Graham said the stage looks set for the second Group G encounter this evening between Ghana and the USA in the on-going FIFA world cup.

This is the third time the two countries are meeting at the world cup. The host city of Natal has some interesting experiences similar to Africa and Europe and its unique features are expected to serve as a tonic to boost the fortunes of the Black Stars.
 
Also in an exclusive interview, the Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan said he is optimistic of a win against the USA although the game will not be a push over.
 
Asamoah Gyan entreated Ghanaians to go all out to support
the Stars in prayers.
