GRIDCO Put In measures To Ensure Adequate Power Supply During World Cup GRIDCO has put in measures to ensure that there is adequate power supply during the world cup. It has finalised talks with Cote d'Ivoire Power sector to supply 50 percent of electricity to Ghana whenever the Black Stars and the Ivorian national team the Elephants are playing their group matches. Speaking to Radio Ghana, the CEO of GRIDCO, William Amuna, said a generator which has been sent outside the country for mandatory routine checks will be delivered on the 19th of this month. This he said will further boost the generating capacity of the plant at Aboadze. Mr Amuna has advised the public to conserve power by switching off gadgets when not in use to save enough electricity.
