Road Safety Performance Review Conference organized In order for Ghana to be touted as a country with the safest road transport system in Africa, the National Road Safety Commission and other stakeholders in the transport sector have been tasked to act with a sense of urgency in dealing with Road Safety Issues. Speaking at the second stakeholders Performance Review Conference organised by the National Road Safety Commission in Accra, Deputy Transport Minister, Joyce Mogtari, said government will continue to invest in and strengthen the capacity of the National Road Safety Commission as lead statutory road safety agency. Again, government has prioritized funding for the commission aimed at reducing road traffic casualties by 15% by the end of 2020 as recommended by the United Nations. GBC
