President Mahama Urges Ghanaians To Hold Government Accountable For Its Actions The President John Dramani Mahama says Government must be held accountable because it has a core mandate to serve the electorate in truth and honesty. He said Government should be answerable for whatever action it takes in running the nation. President Mahama said this at the opening of the 4th National Policy Fair in Accra which focused on Partnership and Innovation for Development. He said this year government has ensured the full participation of the private sector and this demonstrates government's commitment to dialogue with the sector for national development. For her part, the Chairman of the Council of State, Cecilia Johnson said this year's policy fair is to showcase programmes and activities of those at the grassroots level and provide a platform for policy makers to interact with the public. The Minister of Information and Media Relations, Mahama Ayariga, said the fair should not be the preserve of decision makers but drive home messages for policies. He said the dialogue session will discuss the national health insurance, single spine pay policy and the Retro-chemical industry. GBC
