AngloGold Ashanti workers protest against dismissed director

Workers of AngloGold Ashanti at Tarkwa intensified their protest this morning to have their dismissed Director re-instated.  

According to an Executive member of the Union, Abdul Mumin Gbana, they would stand and fight to restore the dignity of the Ghanaian mine worker in the face of demeaning circumstances.  

He told Radio Ghana that the South African managers have over the years displayed arrogance and disrespect to the Ghanaian worker and that such attitudes would have to stop.
