Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur eulogises late paramount chief of Shama

Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur has paid glowing tribute to the memory of the late paramount chief of Shama Traditional Area, Nana Kweku Binnah III describing him as development oriented in nature. 

According to the Vice President, the 26 years rule of the late Nana Kweku Binnah III saw an impressive level of development due to his humility, love, fairness and sincerity.

This was contain in a statement issued by the office of the Vice President in Accra on Tuesday.

The statement said Vice President Amissah-Arthur paid this tribute when a delegation of the Traditional Council led by the Acting President, Nana Kwamena Wienu II called on him at the Flagstaff House in Accra.

The statement said Vice President Amissah-Arthur was grateful for the live of the late Omanhene and prayed that God keep him safe.

Nana Kweku Binnah passed away on 1st June, 2012 at his residence at Shama. He was 79 years. 

He was installed as Omanhene of Shama Traditional Area in September 1986.
