UTAG begins strike today Members of the University Teachers Association of Ghana, UTAG have threatened to withdraw their services indefinitely from today Tuesday, April 2. In a statement signed by the President of the Association, Dr. Anthony Simmons said they will withdraw all teaching services in all public Universities to back demands for immediate payment of all salary arrears owed its members since 2012. Additionally UTAG is demanding that the agreed market premium factor be applied to the current basic salary as the appropriate restoration per their earlier communique. GBC
