Thousands Of People March To Mark A Five Day World Social Forum In Tunisia

Thousands of people from diverse groups worldwide have taken part in a march to mark the opening of the five day World Social Forum in Tunisia. 

Human rights activists, feminists, pro-democracy activists, unionists and ecologists participated in the march which was almost like a street carnival. 

The World Social Forum is seen as an alternative to the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland every year.
