Affail Monney heads new GJA executive body The Ghana Journalist Association now has new executives. At the end of national elections held yesterday, Roland Affail Monney of GBC was elected unopposed. The Vice President went to Mathias Tibu who polled 316 against Abu Issa Monnie who had 213 votes. For General Secretary, Dave Agbenu went unopposed and Rogking Clottey Organising Secretary also unopposed. Linda Asante Agyei was elected Treasurer. She polled 335 as against Rosalind Amoh who polled 193. For the Public Affairs position, Mary Mensah won with 364 votes as against Yaa Edusei 158. Announcing the results, the Chairman of the GJA Elections Committee, Benedict Asorrow entreated members to accept the results in good faith.
