Psychiatric Nurses Urged To Work Hard Despite The Lack Of Adequate Hands And Logistics

A Nursing Administrator at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, Nii TeikoTagoe has cautioned Psychiatric Nurses not to allow patients to suffer because of lack of adequate hands and logistics. 

He said there is the need for nurses to address Psychiatric cases proactively. 

He cited the absence of a Mental Health Board as one of the challenges the mental health sector faces and called on government to facilitate the formation of the board. 

Nii Teiko Tagoe said this at a seminar organised for Psychiatric Nurses in Accra.
