Government Procures 34 Armored Vehicles For Ghanaian Contingent On Peace Keeping In Lebanon

The General Officer Commanding the Northern Command of the Ghana Army, Brigadier General Richard Kwame Opoku-Aduse, says government has purchased 34 armored vehicles for the Ghanaian Contingent on Peace Keeping in Lebanon. 

This will assist them to operate effectively. Brigadier General Opoku-Adusei, announced this when he led a six-member military delegation to observe the Medals Presentation parade in Lebanon. 
He encouraged Ghanbatt 77 to work hard to preserve the good image of the Ghana Armed Forces in peace keeping. 

The UNIFIL, Deputy Force Commander, Brigadier-General Patrick Phelan, commended the Ghanaian troops for their excellent performance.
