Accra Circuit Court Carry Out A 90 Year Court Sentence

A twenty-five year old fisherman, Isaac Mensah, alias Perdor, has been sentenced to 90 years in prison in hard labour by an Accra Circuit Court, for robbery. 

Mensah was tried in two separate cases by the court presided over by Francis Obiri. 

Mensah was convicted and accordingly sentenced after changing his plea from not guilty to guilty. 

He was handed 50 years in one of the cases and 40 years in the other. 

However, the two sentences are to run concurrently.
