Government To Revamp Meteorological Agency 

Government is to transform the Ghana Meteorological Agency in order to compete with other agencies in the world. 

In this regards government will provide the Agency with the necessary equipment to be able to fulfill it's mandate  of providing accurate forecast.

The Minister of Communications, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah announced this  at a forum in Accra to commemorate this year’s World Meteorological Day. 

The theme for the celebration is "Watching the weather to protect life and property.
