University of Ghana must internationalise – VC

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Ernest Aryeetey, says the university has to internationalise in a carefully considered and structured way to avoid being marginalised in an increasing globalised academic environment.  

The Vice Chancellor emphasised the need for the numerous Memoranda of Understanding signed between the University of Ghana and various international universities to be taken seriously.  

Professor Aryeetey expressed these sentiments at the International Day Lecture as part of events to mark the 65th anniversary of the University in Accra.
