Two Survive In Capsized Boat Off Nigerian Coast 

At least a dozen of bodies have been recovered from the boat that capsized off the Nigerian coast yesterday. 

According to Nigeria's Emergency Service, two survivors have been rescued and sent to Calabar. 

The two survivors, a young boy and a woman, clung to a gas cylinder before they were found by fishermen.

The accident occurred when a wooden boat carrying 166 traders from southeastern Nigeria capsized about 40 nautical miles off the coast. 

The boat is said to have left last Friday from the remote town of Oron, in CrossRivers state, across the Gulf of Guinea and was heading to Gabon, in Central Africa. 

An official with the Cross River State Emergency Services, Joseph Morris, said the bodies have been taken from the scene of the accident to the mortuary in Calabar. 

Search and rescue operations are said to be on-going.
