Protect Marine Ecosystem-Environmental Baseline Survey Discloses   

An Offshore Environmental Baseline Survey has been launched in Accra with a call on all to protect the marine ecosystem.  

The Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Joe Oteng Adjei, said the emerging oil industry poses a challenge to Ghana's coastal dwellers who are mainly fishermen. 

He therefore, called for co-existence between the fishing communities and the oil sector for the sustainable use of marine resources to conserve and protect the marine environment.
