Ghana And Lebanon Sign Agreements To Foster Trade And Banking

Ghana and Lebanon have signed a guide for bilateral co- operations between them.  The framework which spans from this year to 2016 includes co-operations in Trade, Tourism and Banking. 

The agreements were signed by Ghana's Foreign Minister Hannah Tetteh, and her Lebanese counterpart, Adnan Mansour. 
The ceremony was witnessed by Lebanon's President, General Michel Sleiman and President John Mahama at the Flagstaff House in Accra.
  
The two Presidents had earlier discussed the lingering conflict in the Middle East and how to develop new initiatives towards brokering peace across the globe.

President General Michel Sleiman of Lebanon on Saturday arrived in Ghana with is his wife, Wafaa, and an 86-member delegation for a two-day official visit.

On his second day, President Sleiman will visit and lay wreaths at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, visit the Asomdwe Park and later to Burma Camp where some military officers will be decorated for their meritorious service in peacekeeping in Lebanon.
