Government To Meet Leaders Of GNAT And NAGRAT Today 

Government is inviting the leaders of the Ghana National Association of Teachers and National Association of Graduate Teachers to a meeting with sector ministers and Head of government agencies today,Sunday 17th March at the Flagstaff House at 8 am to find an amicable solution to problems raised by the two associations. 
 
A press statement signed by the Minister of Information and Media Relations, Mahama Ayariga says government is concerned about the decision of the unions to embark on an indefinite strike when senior high school students writing the West African Senior Schools Certificate Examinations have started and pupils of the Basic schools are preparing to write the Basic Education  Certificate Examinations. 

Government says serious consideration will be given to issues raised by the Ghana National Association of Teachers and the National Association of Graduate Teachers to avert any disruption of the examinations.

Students and parents are therefore entreated to focus on their preparation for the examination without any anxiety.
