Inadequate investigators hampering performance of Police Service

The Upper West Regional Police Command says inadequate investigators and prosecutors is one of the major challenges facing the service.

The Regional Police Commander, DCOP Kofi Danso Adei-Akyeampong, said out of a total of 1,434 cases recorded last year 1,115 are still under investigations.

DCOP Adei-Akyeampong revealed this at this year’s celebration of WASSA of the Police Service at Wa.
