Peace Council to assist in resolving Konkomba and Bimoba clashes The National Peace Council will embark on a fact finding mission to Nankpanduri in the Northern region this weekend. This follows clashes between the Konkomba and Bimoba ethnic groups. The Executive Secretary of the NPC, Francis Azuma will lead the delegation. It is expected to meet interest groups including the Police to ascertain at first hand the cause of the recent disturbances. Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Chairman of the Council, Most Rev Emmanuel Asante said the visit will assist the Council in taking steps to resolve the conflict. GBC
