Ghana is no longer malaria endemic -  Health Minister

Ghana is no longer a hyper malaria endemic country.

This is due to its effort in the reduction of the level of malaria parasites.

The Minister of Health, Sherry Ayittey, in a message at a press briefing in Accra, said environmental management is critical in the prevention of malaria.  

She therefore called for concerted efforts to help eradicate malaria. 

The programme was organised by Preventive Limited, a concerned health education project.
