Ghana SMEs to benefit from ILO initiative

Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) in Ghana will now heave a sigh of relief with the introduction of a major intervention by the International Labour Organisation, ILO to increase productivity in SMEs in the country. 

The initiative, Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) targets companies with a work force of 50 and above, and is aimed at complementing government's efforts at turning the fortunes of SMEs around. 

The Programme Manager of the ILO SCORE Programme in Ghana, Kwamina Amoasi-Andoh, joins us in the studio to tell us more about the initiative.
