Accra: Fire guts 'Abena Ateaa' Towers A fire outbreak at the ‘Abena Ateaa’ Towers on the Ring road near the Kwame Nkrumah Circle is said to have destroyed property running into thousands of Ghana cedis on Tuesday morning. The building houses a computer training school, NIIT and other companies. The fire was said to have started on the 3rd floor where NIIT is located. Fire service men were able to put out the fire before it engulfed the entire building. The ground floor of the 7-Storey building, said to belong to the mother of Ghanaian football international, Samuel Osei Kufuor, also houses Access Bank. The Sikkim Manipal University which shares the 3rd and 4th floors with NIIT are reported to have been the most affected. More Updates Soon
